Beschreibungen

"ACE-High Station Faroes (Sornfelli)" - die Daten  


  • Die ACE-High Station Faroes wurde in den Jahren "o.A" bis "o.A" erbaut und ging nach einer Testphase in die offizielle Betriebsphase. 


  • Die Bezeichnung der ACE-High Station lautete nach der offizielen Inbetriebnahme der Station "Faroes (Sandfelli 2)" und die NATO Code hierzu war "EAA".

  • EAA - Faroes (Sandfelli 2) (E) England (AA) NATO Codierung - Station AA 


  • 1971 wurden die ACE-High Stationen im "ACE High Network Europe" neu codiert, die Bezeichnung der ACE-High Station "Faroes (Sornfelli)" wurde nicht geändert.

  • EAA - Faroes (Sandfelli 2) (E) England (AA) NATO Codierung - Station AA 


  • Die Betriebsphase endete mit Schliessung der ACE High Station. 


  • Im praktischen Sinne handelt es sich hier nicht um eine eigenständige ACE-High Station, sondern um eine Übergabe Station (US Airforce Link) an das weiterführende North Atlantic System "NARS". Die technischen Komponenten des ACE-High System waren in der Station 43 "Sornfelli" - des NARS System, installiert. Die Übergabe Channel Capacity betrug lediglich 6 Kanäle. Es bestand eine direkte durchgeschaltete Fernschreiberverbindung nach Dänemark zu dem CRC Bunker "Gyges - 1137" in Karup.[1]
